The war room
Every draft since 2007 and every trade, graded after the fact. A pick's value is the points it scored above a waiver-wire starter, compared with what that draft slot usually returns. Round 1 is the keeper round: in order of last year's finish, each manager keeps one player or passes, and the passers then take a franchise player, worst to first. Hindsight is cheap, and we're buying in bulk.
Every pick
Each cell shows where the player finished at their position. Gold picks beat their slot by 40+ points; red ones missed it by 40+.
Grand larceny and dumpster fires
Steals and busts come from rounds 2 on; busts only count rounds 2 to 5. The keeper round is ranked on its own. A keeper is a player the manager drafted or traded for the year before; anything else counts as a franchise pick, so a kept waiver pickup shows up as one.
Who can actually draft?
Totals across every draft, keeper round included. Keeper round is the average value of a manager's keeper-round picks against the league's average one. First pick, usually: the position they take in round 2.
Who gets kept
The keeper round, in order. Outlined chips are franchise picks.
Every fleecing, in order
Players are judged on their full-season points above replacement, since Yahoo doesn't split a player's season by team. The side that got more is the winner.
